This is a highly successful and entrepreneurial privately owned development and construction group that is leading the way in building large accommodation projects throughout the UK. After 25 years the company is continuing to be highly successful and a hugely profitable business.
If you have lead Site Management experience of delivering new build hotels, apartments or care homes to a value of £5M+ then read on.
As the business continues to expand due to an ever growing forward order book there is a requirement for an additional Lead Site Manager to be based in the West Midlands area on a permanent basis.
Extensive Site Management experience as number one on site overseeing new build projects to a value of £5M is essential as is being able to manage both direct labour and sub-contractor's alike. You will need new build and traditional build project experience on accommodation based projects and have the ability to ensure very high build quality standards are met on site. You will have SMSTS or CSCS Site Safety accreditation.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Leading regular site meetings with professionals, including quantity surveyors, building services engineers, subcontractors, and the client.
- Maintaining strict quality control procedures - this necessitates regular testing of materials, visual inspections of work, and frequent tours of the site.
- Conducting regular site safety checks.
- Ensuring the project runs to schedule and to budget, including finding solutions to problems that may cause delays, i.e. late arrival of materials etc.
This is a permanent role with an annual salary up to £48,000pa + £4200 car allowance + £10,000 annual project bonus + full benefits package.
