Senior Site Manager / Site Manager
Job Profile
We're looking for an experienced (Senior) Site Manager with an ambition to work for a forward-thinking construction principal contractor. You'll have a passion for Construction and further still, you'll have an ambition to share your enthusiasm with your team. Our client, on the back of several recent contract wins, is looking for a Site Manager to join the business on an initial contract basis but with the potential of going permanent for the right person.
Client
Our client is an up and coming medium sized construction firm with an ambition to grow their construction operation organically and by increasing their turnover with solid construction projects. To do this, they need to appoint a Site Manager to help deliver and bring in the right jobs to life. It's that simple.
The role itself:
The contract is initially 20 weeks which will account for the full duration of contract. You'll report into a visiting Contracts Manager, so you'll be the number 1 manager on site from Monday - Friday. Ideally, you'll have the following experiences;
- Been the number 1 on projects up to a value of £5m.
- Worked on multi-sector projects but with a broad knowledge of steel frames, mezzanine floors, internal refurbishments (cat a and b fit outs).
- Ability to monitor programmes
- Health and safety conscious with the necessary certificates (First Aid, SMSTS).
- CSCS Card
