We are working with a reputable principal contractor who work in a variety of sectors within Civil Engineering and Building including Education, Student Accommodation/PRS, commercial and industrial units. Typically, they build projects up to a value of £30m.
Their business runs throughout the UK and employs over 3000 people. They employ a strong entrepreneurial culture, which is built on reaching a common goal - working together to transform the built environment.
Senior Site Manager
We're looking for a Senior Site Manager to head up a £2m Student Accommodation project (including part demolition and redevelopment) in Coventry. This role would suite somebody from a principal contracting background with a history of building projects up to £20m in value. You will need to have the following experience;
- History of working for a main contractor.
- History of heading up projects as a Senior Site Manager (no.1 on site) to a value of £5m.
- Worked in tight logistical settings with difficult and limited access.
- Worked on residential refurbishments and/or redevelopments in the past.
- Have a portfolio of works within residential/student accommodation/PRS/Hotels.
- Excellent management of internal and external stakeholders

Background
You'll likely have come from a higher education background, including a degree within a construction related field or NVQ level 6. You'll also need all appropriate site certificates, including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
