Senior Project Manager / Project Director - Retail
The Opportunity
My client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Director, or a Senior Project Manager looking for a step up, to join their construction team. The company is a well established, successful, privately owned construction and design business.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will specifically form part of the leadership team for the retail division. Cut and Carve experience - shopping centres, experience being lead PM on site values £12m - £25m. Communication is key - working respectfully worth shopping centre management. Respecting we are a visitor in their building. Must work with awareness that the build will impact the shopping centres operation and shopping experience. Must show the tenants and public is the main priority whilst delivering the project.
To be considered for the role, you require the following:
- Qualified to degree level with preferably 8 years plus experience
- Hold an in date CSCS (Black Managers Card)
- Recent retail experience within a Project Director or Senior Project Manager position.
- Experience of preparing site & liaising with other construction professionals such as Architects & Estimators
- Knowledge of developing the programme of work and strategy for the project
- Experience dealing with a range of stakeholders, communicating & working with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, the public and workforce.
