My client is a national construction business specialising in health, retail and logistics. The business has a high profile customer base which includes some of the biggest brands in the UK.

The Opportunity
My client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced a Document Controller to join their construction team. The company is a well-established, successful, privately owned construction and design business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the flow of documentation within the business development design team
- Take the lead in administering the document management system
- Provide administration support to the design managers in preparing contractor proposals, specifications, sales order process forms
- Assist in analyzing specifications to ensure that ilke design, procurement and construction information complies with client requirements
- Provide administration support to design managers in preparing all forms of required documentation including management of external providers where required
- Preparation and circulation of meeting minutes when chaired by design managers
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreements
- Assist in preparing monthly design team reports
- Assist with managing Design Consultants to meet agreed deadlines.
- Maintain the design managers tracking schedules
- Assist in managing the diary and appointments of design managers in collaboration with executive assistants
- Collate feedback and comments from clients and colleagues to assist with the ongoing development of our product, our platform design, design packages and procurement strategies
- Assist with preparation of design programmes
Qualifications & Training:
- Preferred relevant qualifications e.g., Business Administration
- Project management training or qualification
- Experience of using document management systems
- Strong use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driving licence
Experience
- Experience of working as a design coordinator, document controller or administrator
- Preference for construction, retail
- Use of document management systems
