- Description
We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor from a house building background to join a newly formed residential construction business in Sheffield.
Our client is financially strong, and due to recent expansion of a new division, has a requirement to establish a full construction team.
You will need proven knowledge of housing development and will be responsible for overseeing the commercial management of various housing projects including the management of sub-contract tenders, orders, payments, budgets, site valuations and general surveying management duties for sites under your control.
As an experienced Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:-
- Preparing, managing and controlling all site development costs and budgets.
- Maintain budget control throughout site development
- Produce accurate valuations
- Procure sub-contractors, goods and materials
- Payment approvals and processing
- Prepare valuation reports
- CVR's Cost Value Reconciliations
- Liaise with site team and sub-contractors
It is essential that you will have previously worked as either a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in a house building environment.
