Forklift Truck driver / Labourer
The current requirement is for Forklift Truck driver / Labourer to be based within the Yorkshire region.
The company a small / medium sized builder, focus is on key sectors including New home build, Extensions, Refurbishments.
General responsibilities is the use of FLT and to keep the site clean and safe. You should be able to concentrate on performing your tasks and commit to safety rules. If you fit this description, and you're also interested in doing tough but important work, we'd like to meet you. Responsibilities
- Forklift driving
- Clean-up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material
- Handle and transport materials and equipment
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasks
- Put up warning signs for vehicles and passers by
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
Requirements
- Forklift Licence
- Experience working in construction
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety rules
