This is a leading national main contractor with a UK turnover of circa £3.5bn working in the sectors of education, residential, student accommodation and retail both new build and regeneration.

The current requirement is for a Logistics Manager to be responsible for the logistical operations for a £90M new build and refurbishment project in the centre of Birmingham. The successful applicant will have experience of working on major construction projects running all logistic processes on site, from waste management, traffic management, welfare facilities management to lifting operations.

As a suitable candidate for this opportunity you will have strong logistics experience with a main contractor, developer or logistics specialist on large construction projects. You should be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, you will have a good working knowledge of building regulations and have completed a recognised safety programme.

This is a permanent role with excellent career progression. Salary is to £50,000pa + car allowance + package.
