Senior Property Consultant - Retirement Living Location: Derby, DE22 Contract Type: Two Years (strong possibility of extension) Hours: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (9.30 am - 5pm) Sunday (10.00 am - 4.00 pm) The Company Burghley Retirement Living is a provider of luxury retirement apartments that offer a secure, low maintenance home together with a carefree lifestyle.
The Role This is a site-based position, situated in a sales office. You will be required to work five days a week (including weekends).
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Co-ordinate regular advertising campaigns through local advertising, social media - Zoopla / Rightmove / facebook / ppc, and direct mail to all enquirers.
- Build, manage and co-ordinate a database of potential purchasers.
- Progress enquiries via direct telephone sales calls to database of potential purchasers.
- Welcome visitors and engage to start the sales process.
- Validate and progress sales enquiries.
- Co-ordinate the sales process i.e. reservation fee, legals, 'easy move'.
- Receive calls from and arrange visits and viewings for potential purchasers.
- Act as personal contact to all potential purchasers.
- Assist and support buyers with their move.
- Deliver presentations to potential buyers off-site and to attend promotional events.
- Customer Service - Handholding secured purchasers to ensure fabulous customer engagement, each and every step of the way.
- Co-ordinate 'Easy Move' including handy-person.
The Candidate We are looking for seasoned property professionals / salespeople with the following experience:
- Experience and knowledge of the concerns affecting older people.
- Sales of new homes or traditional property sales.
- A flair for marketing new properties (with a distinct advantage if they have retirement living experience).
- Excellent negotiating skills.
- Confident and approachable.
- Able to work alone and on their own initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly computer literate, with experience of Microsoft (including Excel).
