The company:
This business is an innovative and rapidly growing, privately owned development and construction company with sites across the Yorkshire, Midlands, North East and North West. They have developed a strong reputation within the market place and are looking to add to their team with an Intermediate Planner to join this exciting business.
The role:
For this Intermediate Planner role, you will be based at their head office in Yorkshire. The role would be office based with occasional remote working, overseeing the delivery of primarily, residential projects (not volume house building). Ideally you will have main contracting experience but candidates from sub contractors working on numerous projects will also be considered.
You will be a highly motivated and ambitious individual with the energy and drive to provide planning support for all aspects of the projects, to ensure the delivery of a high quality finished product within budget and on time.
This business is extremely well funded by its parent company and is led by a highly experienced team from tier 1 main contractors that are looking for fresh talent from the construction world to complement the growing team.
You will need to demonstrate the following:
- Experience of working on and delivering projects to £10million
- Currently operating as a Planner within a construction business
- Ideally degree qualified within a construction related discipline
- Competence in the use of Asta Power Project - Project Management software
- Comprehensive programme management experience
- Detailed knowledge and experience of managing and maintaining a works programme
- Confidence in managing the different stakeholder expectations
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent influencing and communication skills
- Be able to make an immediate impact on the business
This is a permanent role with excellent career progression. Salary is negotiable depending on experience) + car allowance + excellent package + bonus.
