SHE Advisor (3 regional roles available)
Location: North (M62 Corridor), OR East Midlands (South Yorkshire & East Midlands), OR West Midlands
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join a privately owned independent business with a turnover of £100m +, developing, constructing, and operating large accommodation based schemes. This covers residential, student accommodation, care and retirement living apartments. Reporting to the QESH Manager, the role will involve regular travel to the Company's sites and offices on a national basis.
As SHE Advisor:
Implement the Company's SHE Policy and monitor SHE performance goals to enhance and continuously improve the Company's performance in these critical areas.
Provide pro-active support for the business on all SHE issues and a commitment to ensuring there is continuous improvement in our SHE performance.
Maintain and continuously improve an accredited Health & Safety Management system and Environmental Management System.
Key Accountabilities
All employees are expected to understand their responsibilities and carry out their role in line with the Company Management System, i.e. complying with our policies, procedures, processes and tools. In addition to enabling successful project delivery, this ensures that all roles are carried out in line with our ISO Accreditations (as listed below), against which you will be periodically audited against.
ISO 9001 Quality Management System
ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System
ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
You will be required to provide SHE support to the preconstruction and project delivery process.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all staff are informed and compliant with all SHE procedure.
You will provide reports on a reguar basis and ensure continuous improvement of best practice.

Construction experience including high rise apartments.

Qualifications and Certification required
Ideally a NEBOSH diploma
A minimum of NEBOSH Construction certificate
