Document Controller
Huddersfield | Office-Based | Up to £40,000 + Car Allowance | £300k–£10M Projects

We’re working with a well-established main contractor in Huddersfield that’s delivering a wide range of commercial and industrial builds across Yorkshire — from bespoke one-offs to large-scale developments up to £10 million in value.

They’re now looking for an experienced Document Controller to join the team and take charge of managing project information across multiple live sites. If you’re highly organised, confident in your systems, and want to be part of a solid, growing company — this could be the move you’re looking for.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing and maintaining all key project documents — drawings, specs, reports, and correspondence
• Making sure the right version of the right document is in the right hands at the right time
• Working closely with site teams, PMs, and consultants to keep everything flowing smoothly
• Supporting wider project admin and coordination
• Improving and maintaining document control systems across the business

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Document Controller in the construction sector
• Strong understanding of document management systems and procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Confident communicator who can work well across teams
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and document control platforms
