£300k–£10M ProjectsWe’re partnered with a privately owned regional main building contractor which were established in Huddersfield over 100 years ago, delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial projects across Yorkshire — from bespoke one-off builds to multi-million-pound developments.

As Office Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes, enabling the business to continue to deliver exceptional projects across the region.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a seamless and professional environment
 - Providing high-level administrative support to project teams and the wider business
 - Taking ownership of document control — ensuring all drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence are accurately managed and distributed
 - Maintaining version control and precision across all project documentation
 - Managing subcontractor payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal processes
 - Partnering closely with site teams, project managers, and consultants to keep information flowing efficiently
 - Driving improvements to internal systems and processes to support growth
 
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, within a construction sector
 - Strong knowledge of document control processes with exceptional attention to detail
 - Demonstrable experience of managing subcontractor payments
 - Organised, methodical, and able to balance multiple priorities with ease
 - A confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative, team-focused culture
 - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document control platforms
