Senior Site / Project Manager - New build Housing (Flintshire)
Package - Basic Salary to £60,000 pa + car allowance, Company Pension, Private Medical Insurance, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays
The company
The House Building arm of a major construction and regeneration group are looking to recruit a Project Manager or a Senior Site Manager who is looking for the next step ito be a Project Manager to work on Projects in Prestatyn. This is part of a division that turns over around £130m within a group turnover approaching £2 billion.
The role
Due to continued growth and expansion of the Region our client has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Manager / Project Manager to join their team to look after 2 Site of up to a 60 new build affordable housing units. Ultimately the opportunity for progression will allow someone to be responsible for up to 4 sites in total.
You will be responsible for the Project Delivery on a day to day basis making sure that the project is delivered within agreed programme timescales and budgets.
Duties & responsibilities include:
- As a project manager you will successfully manage the tasks within the projects and their associated activities from conception through to completion.
- Delivering work that meets project requirements, customer satisfaction, SHEQ standards, and in accordance with company standards.
- You will also have knowledge of all aspects of legislative compliance, including Section Agreements, Statutory Authority Agreements and health and safety and environmental policies.
- Commercially aware within the UK Construction sector.
- Strong client interface, managing the different stakeholder expectations in line with the project requirements.
Requirements to be considered for this role:
Educated to HND or Degree level
Someone who has a trade background and has worked their way up may also be considered.
Manage role with a main house building contractor.
Able to lead a team effectively.
Good communication skills with the ability to contribute effectively and collaboratively within a team environment, within a large organisation.
Proven track record of delivering New Build Housing schemes with a minimum of 50 units.
Experience working with Housing Associations will be an advantage.
Must be able to work on your own initiative and hit the ground running.
High level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills; able to manage projects simultaneously without compromising on standards, accuracy and quality.
