Regional Commercial Manager - Residential / Construction
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a commercially astute individual to join a Residential / Construction company. My client has recently gone through a grown period, and now seek an experienced Regional Commercial Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
Main duties will include:
- Work directly with the Regional Operations Director and Regional Operations
- Ensure development programmes are in place to continuously develop the team
- Managers
- Arrange and approve sub-contractor appointments, in conjunction with company
- Ensuring that commercial and contractual risks are identified through the qualification of the bid
- Provide commercial leadership and direction to the regional business to deliver the business plan
- Ensure commercially that people are motivated to achieve company goals, and ensure that contracts utilise correct approaches to risk matters
About you:
- At least 8 years' experience of working within a Construction environment
- Experience in the negotiation of contracts from tender to execution
- Proven ability to write detailed reports for external parties
