We have a unique opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a residential development business that is expanding its commercial team. Projects are all residential schemes including housing, apartments, care homes etc…
This business is extremely well funded by its parent company and is led by a highly experienced team that are looking for fresh talent from the residential construction world to complement the growing team.
You should have a proven knowledge of residential developments and will be responsible for overseeing the commercial management of various projects within this sector including the management of sub-contract tenders, orders, payments, budgets, site valuations and general surveying management duties for sites under your control.
As an experienced Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing, managing and controlling all site development costs and budgets.
- Maintain budget control throughout site development
- Produce accurate valuations
- Procure sub-contractors, goods and materials
- Payment approvals and processing
- Prepare valuation reports
- CVR's Cost Value Reconciliations
- Liaise with site team and sub-contractors
- Fund monitoring.
Ideally you will be situated on the M62 corridor enabling access to sites in the North West and Yorkshire.
The opportunity comes with a competitive salary to £55,000, car allowance and package and to join an expanding business and help shape the surveying function.
