We have a unique opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a major residential development business that is expanding its commercial team (not volume housing). Projects are all residential schemes including housing developments, apartments, care homes and residential conversions to mills and offices.

This business is extremely well funded by its parent company and is led by a highly experienced team from tier 1 main contractors that are looking for fresh talent from the construction world to complement the growing team.

You should have a proven knowledge of residential developments and will be responsible for overseeing the commercial management of various projects within this sector including the management of sub-contract tenders, orders, payments, budgets, site valuations and general surveying management duties for sites under your control.

This role is something very different from the corporate contractor world and will enable a driven individual to forge a rewarding career path with plenty of scope for career enhancement, the sky really is the limit.

As an experienced Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

Ideally you will be situated on the M1 / M62 corridor enabling access to sites in the North West and Yorkshire.

The opportunity comes with a competitive salary to £55,000 (depending on experience), car allowance and package and to join an expanding business and help shape the surveying function.
