Area Sales Support Administrator required to join well established manufacturing company in Skipton, North Yorkshire.

About the role:
Working as part of the Sales Team to provide sales and administrative support to the Area Sales Managers, you will be responsible for managing existing client accounts to ensure all orders are delivered in full, preparing quotations and samples for both new and existing customers. Liaising with the Area Sales Managers with daily updates on clients, enquiries, quotations, etc.
With the support of the Sales Office Manager, as well as the Area Sales Managers you will contact potential new opportunities through a targeted approach to introduce the business and their product range, including, where appropriate, make appointments for the Area Sales Manager to visit.
You will be responsible for tracking orders and deliveries to keep both customers and the Area Sales Managers aware of any updates or issues, taking ownership to find a solution where required.
About you:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes
Experienced in generating and converting sales opportunities to new sales, through a targeted database
Proficient in up-selling to current customer bases with alternative/new products where appropriate
- Excellent organisational skills, prioritise workload and ability to multi task
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Proven track record in delivering exceptional levels of customer service
- Experienced in generating and converting sales opportunities to new sales/contacts, through a targeted approach.
- Enthusiastic and target driven
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Outlook, ACT and Sage, is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided
Working Hours: 8-5.15 with 1 hour lunch break
