CompanyThis is an extremely successful nationally active multi-disciplinary construction consultancy specialising in professional services operating in both the housing and commercial sectors. Located in high spec offices near Huddersfield the services the consultancy provide include project management, asset management, CDM coordination and surveying, architecture and design. RoleThis is an opportunity for an experienced Consultant, Surveyor or Project Manager with 'Retrofit' experience and knowledge of PAS 2035 standards to lead and develop a new division within the consultancy to support social housing providers in delivering net-zero energy residential retrofit projects.
Key tasks:
- To ensure successful delivery of net zero housing retrofit projects
- To support landlords through the delivery journey, including: awareness, interest, business case, decision, procurement, build phase, monitoring and close.
- To manage client, contractor and partner relationships.
- Set up Retrofit systems and processes within the consultancy and advise internally on PAS 2035 standards.
Key experience:
- Social landlord experience and expertise: asset management, finance, development (ideally with specific experience of managing major capital spend and retrofit projects)
- Construction and manufacturing sector experience
- Construction contract management experience
- New build and refurbishment housing development experience
- Ability to review, analyse and benchmark energy performance
- Ability to identify potential technical solutions
- Retrofit Coordinator training or other similar energy related qualifications and awareness
