The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for an ambitious and independent Project Quantity Surveyor to deliver projects from £10m in value upwards, in the Industrial and Logistics sector for an award winning national contractor, who has recently opened a northern regional office based in Manchester. The North region covers anywhere north of the Midlands. However, it is currently focussed on Manchester and the North West.

The Role

As Project Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of the project from start to completion.

All commercial requirements including:

Valuations

Final accounts

Variations and change management

Cashflow forecasting

Value engineering

Cost value reconciliations

Subcontract procurement

Subcontract commercial management

General Commercial support to the site team

The Candidate

Required Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Attributes:

Degree in Quantity Surveying

Full UK driving licence

Extensive experience within Construction Industry, specifically a main contractor

Must have worked on projects of £10m+ in value

Experience of industrial/logistics projects desirable

Must have been commercial lead on at least one project

A sound knowledge of various standard forms of contracts

Professional, ambitious, independent
