Manchester - North West
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an ambitious and driven Quantity Surveyor to assist in the delivery of projects from £10m in value upwards, in the Industrial and Logistics sector for an award winning national contractor, who has recently opened a northern regional office based in Manchester. The North region covers anywhere north of the Midlands. However, it is currently focussed on Manchester and the North West. As this is a new regional team there will be many career development opportunities going forward.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor you will be involved in all commercial aspects of the project from start to completion.
Including the following:
Valuations
Final accounts
Variations and change management
Cashflow forecasting
Value engineering
Cost value reconciliations
Subcontract procurement
Subcontract commercial management
General Commercial support to the site team
The Candidate
Required Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Attributes:
Degree in Quantity Surveying
Full UK driving licence
A minimum of five years' experience within Construction Industry, with a main contractor
Good knowledge of various standard forms of contracts
Professional, independent, ambitious and driven
