The Opportunity

We're recruiting for a driven Project Manager to deliver the best for clients and the business. Managing projects from inception to completion, you will have a strong knowledge of all Health & Safety policy and procedures and ensure quality and best practice.

Based in Bradford, you'll manage construction projects ranging £1 million to £10 million across Yorkshire and the East Midlands.

The Business

Their diverse portfolio reflects the expertise and capabilities that allow them to bring projects of all sizes to life, and work across sectors including commercial, education, food and drink, healthcare, hospitality, PRS and student accommodation.

The Role - What you'll do:

Work closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor, providing the necessary input to allow the Quantity Surveyor to report on the current and projected financial status of the project

Develop the projects main logic of works programme

Ensure that no work commences on site until health and safety policy and the relevant construction phase plan is in place

Develop Method Statements and Risk Assessments together with the Safety Plan and to observe the requirement of the CDM Regulations in the status of Principal Contractor

Provide leadership and support to all Employees

Manage labour and maintain high productivity

Expedite materials and information release from design team

Comply with the requirements of the company's Quality Procedure and Manual

Manage all sub-contractors and supply chain effectively

Supervise the quality of the works and hand over a snag free building

At all times to represent the company in the best possible way, be courteous and professional working to the highest ethical standards

The Person - What you'll need:

A Construction or Civil Engineering related degree or a trade background with construction management experience

Leadership experience in the construction industry or housebuilding sector

Valid CSCS Management card

Certified SMSTS

Competent in Health and Safety practise

A member of CIOB, ICE or CEng (Desirable)
