- Description
This is an opportunity for an experienced M&E Manager to join the Major Projects Division of a tier one national main contractor operating throughout the UK. This role is permanent and based in the Midlands Region.
The current requirement is for an experienced M&E Manager to be site based in Birmingham working on a large new build £90M 600 room student accommodation development which is currently starting on site and due to run for the next 2 years.
The M&E Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the delivery and M&E program managing stakeholders, procurement process, employers' agents, sub-contractors, design and engineering teams, planning and cost ensuring the highest level of delivery.
Requirements:
- A background within Mechanical or Electrical delivery
- A full understanding of latest M&E best practices and laws
- Experience in delivering large M&E packages for a main contractor or specialist M&E sub-contractor.
- Worked at a senior level of project or programme delivery
- Experience of managing senior stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience of community engagement and leading complex work programmes
- Experience of leading high profile, high value projects
- Extensive experience of financial / budget management Benefits
This is a permanent role that comes with a very competitive salary to £55,000 plus car or car allowance plus benefits package.
