A great opportunity for an ambitious Construction Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager to join a successful Yorkshire contractor and work directly alongside the Project Director on a varied portfolio of projects.
The business delivers new-build and fit-out schemes across industrial and distribution, residential and hospitality, with project values of up to £10 million.
This is a hands-on role offering genuine responsibility from day one and a clear route into Project Management.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Director, you will help coordinate projects from pre-construction through to completion, keeping information, procurement and project teams moving in the right direction.
Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating live construction projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Managing project documentation, programmes and the flow of information
- Liaising with Site Managers, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors
- Monitoring procurement schedules and material deliveries
- Coordinating health and safety documentation, RAMS and quality records
- Supporting the Project Director across multiple live projects
- Helping ensure projects remain organised, on programme and delivered to a high standard
About You
This role would suit someone already working as a Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager or in a similar construction delivery role who is looking for more responsibility and progression.
Candidates should have:
- A degree or higher-level BTEC qualification in a construction-related discipline
- At least four years’ practical experience within the construction industry
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage several priorities at once
- A proactive, hands-on approach
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- A full UK driving licence
