This is a leading main contractor with a UK turnover of circa £3.5bn working in the sectors of education, residential and retail both new build and regeneration.
With a major new £80M further education project win which will run for 2 years this business is looking for a Design and Build Coordinator to complement the existing team on site in the west Midlands.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Design Manager this role is to control and coordinate all technical information between external consultants and internal departments.
- You will be responsible for the coordination of all design consultants and the flow of technical information for the new build contracts through their life cycle on site.
- Be responsible for the completion of all approvals, certification up to and including handover of the scheme relevant to the Technical department's role in the scheme.
This is a permanent role which will be site based. You should have experience of working as a Design Coordinator with a main building contractor on large scale projects.
