Architectural Technician
Location: Gateshead

Responsibilities:
About the role
As Architectural technician, you will:
- Prepare and amend layouts for new development opportunities
- Collate and submit planning applications and condition discharge information
- Appoint and coordinate relevant consultants in support of planning applications
- Obtain all relevant statutory consents
- Obtain layout schedules and production schedules
- Attend and hold regular Design Team meetings/site progress meetings
- Check layouts and floor plans
- Provide Production Information/detailed design
- Provide on-site technical information and guidance during the construction phase
- Prepare Conveyance and Management Company plans and information
- Prepare build-route, compound and sales plans in support of pre-start process
- Prepare internal/external specifications and obtain costings
- Liaise with Manufacturers/Suppliers as required
- Check all technical information received from consultants
- Provide/update construction specifications as required
- Document Coordination using online drawing portal.
- Coordinate all technical information for tendering/estimating/construction release
- Any other duties as directed by the Technical Manager or members of the management team.
About you
You'll need a lot of Architectural Technian experience in a similar environment, along with exceptional attention to detail, and a friendly and professional approach to working alongside the Design Team and external consultants. Strong communication skills are just as important and you'll be resonsible for producing technical technical information. In addition you will be a self starter, able to prioritise and manage your own diary to ensure that service level agreements are met effectively.
The working hours for this role are 38.75 hours per week
