Recruit Build is working with a well-established, family-run construction company with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.
The business works across a diverse range of sectors, including industrial and distribution, residential and hospitality, delivering both new-build and fit-out projects valued at up to £10 million.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an organised, proactive and ambitious Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager to work closely with the Project Director, supporting the successful delivery of multiple construction projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team, take on real responsibility from day one and progress into Project Management.
The Role
Working alongside the Project Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating live construction projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Managing project documentation, programmes and the flow of project information
- Liaising with Site Managers, suppliers, consultants and subcontractors
- Monitoring procurement schedules and material deliveries
- Coordinating health and safety documentation, RAMS and quality records
- Helping to ensure projects remain organised, on programme and delivered to a high standard
About You
Candidates should have:
- A degree or higher-level BTEC qualification in a construction-related discipline
- At least four years’ practical experience within the construction industry
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach and the ability to work on their own initiative
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- A full UK driving licence
